India on Saturday reported 22,272 cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, according to the data released by the Health Ministry. At the same time, 251 people have lost their lives due to this deadly virus. During this period, 22,274 patients have been recovered.
So far, 1,01,69,118 cases have been reported in the country and 1,47,343 people have died. According to the Ministry of Health, there are 2,81,667 active cases in the country. The total number of people who have recovered has rose up to 97,40,108, pushing the national recovery rate to 95.78 percent, while the fatality rate stands at 1.45 percent.
Over 16.7 Samples tested so far:
During the last 24 hours, 8,53,527 sample tests were conducted. So far, 16,71,59,289 sample tests have been conducted. The active case is witnessing a continuing decline and the recovery rate is increasing rapidly. The number of corona cases in the country surpassed 20 lakh on 07 August, 30 lakh on 23 August, 40 lakh on 5 September, 50 lakh on 16 September, 60 lakh on 28 September, 70 lakh on 11 October, 80 lakh on 29 October, 20 November 90 lakhs and exceeded 1 crore on 19 December.
Delhi: 758 cases in the last 24 hours
On Thursday, 758 new cases reported in the capital Delhi, while 1370 people recovered and 30 died. So far 6.21 lakh people have been infected with this deadly virus. Of these, 6.03 lakh people have been cured, while 10,414 patients have died. At the same time, 7267 patients are currently being treated.
Rajasthan: 1001 cases reported
On Thursday, 1023 coronavirus cases reported in the state. At the same time, 987 people recovered and 7 died. So far, 3.03 lakh people have been infected. Of these, 11,700 patients are being treated, while 2.89 lakh people have been cured. The number of people who lost their lives has now risen to 2657.
