The number of people infected with Corona virus in India is increasing continuously. However, on the consecutive third day, less than 15 thousand new cases of corona infection have been registered.
In the last 24 hours, 14,849 new Corona cases were reported and 155 people lost their lives. On the previous day, 15,948 people have been recovered and discharged from the hospital.
According to the Indian Health Ministry data, now the total corona cases in the country have increased to one crore 6 lakh 54 thousand 533. A total of one lakh 53 thousand 339 people have lost their lives.
One crore three lakh 16 thousand people have been cured by beating Corona. Now the number of active cases in the country has come down to 1 lakh 84 thousand, who are being treated.
19 Crore Coronavirus tests Conducted
According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 19 crore 17 lakh 66 thousand corona samples were tested for corona virus till January 23, of which 7.81 lakh samples were tested yesterday.
Steady Increase in Coronavirus Recovery Rate
Corona virus recovery rate in all states and union territories is more than 90 percent. It is a matter of relief that there is a steady decline in the death rate and active case rate in the country. The death rate from corona is 1.44 percent while the recovery rate is around 97 percent. The active case is less than 2 percent.
More than 1.5 million people were vaccinated
The Union Health Ministry said that so far 15,82,190 people have been vaccinated for the corona virus across the country, out of which one lakh 91 thousand people were vaccinated yesterday.
Since January 16, a large-scale vaccination campaign is being conducted across the country, 27,776 sessions have been held. A total of 6 deaths have been reported so far from the vaccine. However, the ministry claimed that none of these cases were related to vaccination.
Coronavirus Vaccine Side Effects
In Andhra Pradesh, a person has been admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours due to side effects. This person received the vaccine dose on 20 January. With this, the total number of such cases has increased to 11 who are undergoing treatment in the hospital, which is 0.0007 percent of the total immunization figures.
In the case of active case, India is ranked 13th in the world. India is the second most affected country in the world by number of corona infects. The recovery has been the highest in the world after America. India is number after death in America and Brazil.
