Corona virus cases are increasing continuously in the country and the total cases have crossed 2.36 lakhs figure. During the last 24 hours, 9877 cases of Corona virus have been reported in the country and now the total number of cases has come to 236657. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, 9877 new cases of corona virus have been registered in the country in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Friday to 8 am Saturday. It should be noted that now India ranks sixth among the countries with the highest corona virus cases worldwide.
Besides the increase in the corona virus cases, the number of people getting cured is also increasing rapidly, but also during the last 24 hours, 294 people have died due to Corona virus in the country and the number of people who lost their lives due to this virus in the country has now increased to 6642. Maharashtra and Gujarat have recorded the highest number of deaths due to corona virus across the country, 2849 people have lost their lives in Maharashtra while 1,190 people have died in Gujarat.
However, the number of people recovering from the Corona virus in the country is also increasing rapidly and 4611 people have been cured in the last 24 hours, now of the total 236657 corona virus cases in the country, there are 114072 people who have completely recovered.
