The number of people who are losing their lives due to coronavirus in the country is increasing continuously and during the last 24 hours, more than 500 people have died due to corona virus in the country. According to the data released by the Union Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours i.e. from 8 am Tuesday to 8 am Wednesday, 507 people have died due to coronavirus across the country and the total number of deaths due to this virus reached to 17,400.
The highest number of deaths in the country due to coronavirus has been reported in Maharashtra, Delhi and Gujarat. In Maharashtra, the virus has caused 7855 deaths, while in Delhi 2742 people lost their lives and 1846 in Gujarat. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the cases of coronavirus in the country are continuously increasing and 18,653 new cases have been registered in the country during the last 24 hours, only after which the total coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 585493.
However, many people in the country are also recovering after defeating the corona virus and within the last 24 hours, a total of 13,157 people have been cured across the country and the total number of cured people has risen to 347978, with these recovering cases now the recovery rate of coronavirus in the country has increased to close to 60 percent.
There has been continuous testing conducted in the country to identify the patients of coronavirus and more than 2 lakh corona tests are being conducted in the country on the daily basis, whereas a total of 2.17 lakh tests have been conducted across the country on Tuesday itself. The total coronavirus testing in the country has increased to over 88 lakhs. Let us tell you that after the United States, Russia and Britain, the highest number of coronavirus tests are being conducted in India.
Speaking of coronavirus cases globally, the total number of cases reported worldwide is 1.05 crore and more than 5.13 lakh people have also died. However, more than 57.95 lakh coronavirus patients have been cured all over the world. The highest number of cases of coronavirus in the world is in the United States, where more than 27.21 lakh cases have been reported and more than 1.30 lakh people have died so far, followed by more than 14.08 lakh cases reported in Brazil and 59 thousand deaths with 6.47 lakh cases recorded in Russia.
