Coronavirus: Door-to-Door Survey Will Start in the Districts of UP from July 2

Door-to-door survey will be conducted in Meerut, Bulandshahr, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Budh Nagar and Baghpat from tomorrow (July 2, Thursday) to July 12 (Sunday) to prevent the coronavirus spread. If anyone gets symptoms of corona then the corona will be tested. In the remaining districts of UP, the door-to-door survey work will start from July 5 (Sunday) and will continue till July 15 (Wednesday).

21 more people have died during the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh due to COVID-19 and during this period, 585 new cases of infected have been reported in the state. In the state's Additional Chief Secretary of the Medical and Health Department, Amit Mohan Prasad said on Wednesday that 21 more people have died in the state during the last 24 hours and with this, the number of deaths in the state has increased to 718.

16629 people in the state have become infection free by defeating COVID-19

He informed that during the last 24 hours, a total of 585 new cases of COVID-19 infected have been reported in the state, at present the total number of cases under treatment in the state is 6709. So far 16629 people in the state have become infection free by defeating COVID-19. In the state, the rate of infection-free patients has now been 69.12 percent.

Prasad said that on Tuesday (June 30), Uttar Pradesh set another paradigm in the investigation of coronavirus infection. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had targeted to increase the testing capacity to 25,000 per day by June 30, which has been achieved. He also said that 26489 samples were tested in the state on Wednesday and so far a total of 758915 samples have been tested.
