Eight states, including Iowa, Texas, have eliminated the need for masks. The Des Moines School Board in the state of Iowa has offered an online option to families concerned about whether or not their children are coming to class.

Parents do not agree with in-class Education

At the same time, New York City announced that it will end online education from September and will only offer in-class education. However, many parents do not agree with this decision. The Bronx Parent Leaders Group, a parent organization, has urged the option of online education.

Anthony May, head of the Austin School District Board in Texas, has said he will offer online education options to students from kindergarten through sixth grade. Schools are not safe amid the pandemic. Earlier there was a plan to open a school here. The area's Travis County has a positivity rate of 14.5% for COVID-19. This is the highest since January.
