The Shooting World Cup to be held in Delhi in May was canceled on Monday due to the Coronavirus epidemic. The World Cup was to be held from 15 to 26 March which was postponed to May. The International Shooting Sports Federation (ISSF) said, "Due to Corona, the New Delhi Organizing Committee had to cancel the Rifle-Pistol and Shotgun World Cup. Both these tournaments were to be held in Delhi. It was previously decided that the Rifle and Pistol World Cup would take place from May 5 to 12 and the shotgun tournament from June 2 to 9. In view of the prevailing situation, the ISSF decided to cancel both. The ISSF also decided to cancel the joint World Cup to be held in Baku from 22 June to 3 July. Earlier, the World Cup in Munich in June has already been canceled.

Let me tell you that due to the corona epidemic there has been lockdown in the whole world.  India is also in the grip of this epidemic. The lockdown of 21 days is currently going on here, but the number of people getting infected by this epidemic is increasing. Till now, more than 4000 people have been infected while the death toll has crossed 105.

In view of the state of this epidemic in India, all sports activities have also been banned completely and players associated with any sport are imprisoned in their own homes. These days, players have deepened their relationship with social media and are putting up funny videos to entertain their fans.
