Even after the lockdown in India, cases of corona virus are coming up rapidly. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 13 people have died due to corona virus in India, while the number of positive cases has increased to 649. Out of this, 42 people have recovered. At the same time, a 65-year-old man died due to corona virus in Hyderpura, Srinagar. There have been 2 new positive cases of corona virus in Mumbai and Thane. Four people have been found corona positive in Lucknow.

The Assam government has started construction of a coronavirus isolation center at the Indira Gandhi Athletics Stadium in Guwahati to cope with a possible coronavirus outbreak in the state. Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was also present during this period. No coronavirus case has been reported so far in the state.

There are two more cases in the Rajasthan . A 45-year-old man in Jaipur and 35 years old in Jhunjhunu have been found positive with coronavirus. Both came from from abroad. The corona virus cases exceeded 40 in the Rajasthan.

Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee has written a letter to the Chief Ministers of 18 states regarding the people of West Bengal stranded in different parts of the country regarding the lockdown enforced across the country. In the letter, she appealed to all the Chief Ministers to provide basic amenities to the people of Bengal.
