Sourav Ganguly reached the Ramakrishna Mission headquarters Belur Math amid lockdown and donated 2000 kg of rice. He tweeted and wrote that I have come to Belur Math after 25 years and donating 2000 kg rice to help the needy here. Ganguly visited this monastery sitting on a golf cart with priests here. During this, he was seen wearing a white t-shirt and black mask on his face.

Let me tell you that earlier Sourav Ganguly donated rice worth rs. 50 lakhs to help in the fight against the corona epidemic. Many major sporting events have been postponed or canceled due to Corona. The situation is the same for the whole world. Earlier the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games have also been postponed. More than 42 thousand people have died due to corona while around nine lakh people are infected by it.
