Uttar Pradesh Principal Secretary of Health Amit Mohan Prasad said on Saturday that a total of 4462 people have fully recovered in the state and have gone back to their homes. The recovery rate in the state is running at around 59%, whereas, so far 204 people have died in the state due to Corona virus.
He said that yesterday 9091 samples were tested and 8659 samples were sent to various laboratories, our testing capacity is constantly increasing. Yesterday, 667 pools of 5–5 samples were placed for testing and 55 pools with 10–10 samples, 102 pools were found positive in 5 sample pools and 8 out of 10 sample pools were found positive.
Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary of Home and Information Avneesh Awasthi said that in every panchayat, if there is any person who does not have a ration card, then assistance of Rs. 1000 will be given immediately until his ration card is made. "
