The report from RIMS in Jharkhand late on Friday night confirmed 22 new cases of corona virus, the highest figure for any single day. Of these 22 new cases, 20 are only from Garhwa district, while one case each is from Koderma and Ranchi. With this, the total number of corona virus infected in the state has now reached 154. The administration became fully alert after 20 corona patients were found simultaneously in Garhwa. According to reports, all these patients are migrant laborers and have returned from Surat, Gujarat a few days ago. Now people coming in contact with the patients are being identified.

On return from Surat and Gujarat, on the instructions of the district administration, Shri Banshidhar Nagar Subdivision Administration had kept all the people in the Quarantine Center built in the under construction jail at Mahdeiya.
According to the information given by Nitin Madan Kulkarni, Principal Secretary, Health Department of Jharkhand, 74 patients have been cured in the state so far while 3 others have died. In addition, 77 patients are being treated and so far, a total of 93 people have been found corona infected in Ranchi. In addition, the number of infected in Bokaro is 10, while the total number of infected in Hazaribagh and Palamu is 3 and 9 respectively, 2 in Dhanbad, 2 in Simdega, 2 in Jamtara, one in Giridih, one in Godda and Koderma have been found infected. The total number of infected in Deoghar is 4 while the number of infected in Garhwa is 3, apart from this, 2 infected people have been found in Dumka.
