However, after Rajasthan due to the rising havoc of the Corona virus, now the Punjab government has announced a lockdown till March 31. Both the Congress-ruled states are lockdowns. The borders of these states are bordering Pakistan, where the Corona virus has wreaked havoc.
At the same time, BJP-ruled and other states have not yet taken steps towards lockdown, while there states have more number of corona infected patients than Punjab and Rajasthan. In Punjab, the Congress government led by Captain Amarinder Singh has decided to lockdown the entire state by 31 March, in view of the threat of corona virus. CM Amarinder Singh has also appealed to the people of the state to help the administration in fighting the corona virus.
