Corona: Delhi Government Said in HC, Ambulance and Helpline Services are being Improved

The High Court had taken cognizance and summoned Delhi government officials to improve the ambulance and helpline service during the Corona crisis in the country's capital Delhi. In this case, the Delhi government told the High Court on Wednesday that it has also released an app named Delhi Corona on Tuesday. In which there will be information about those hospitals in Delhi, where the patients of Covid-19 are being treated, through this app it can also be known how many beds are empty in which hospital.

It has been told by the Delhi government that it is going to increase the number of helpline numbers further. According to the Delhi government, it is making such an effort that the phone calls of more and more people should be answered promptly. The Delhi government also informed the court today that it has also issued a number to file a complaint, if the hospitals on the app refuse to admit patients even if the beds are empty, then a complaint can be filed on that number.

The Delhi government told the court that it is constantly trying to improve the facility of helpline numbers and ambulances. The government said that in this regard, it will submit a detailed status report in the court by Friday, whereas the Delhi High Court will now hear the matter again on Monday 8 June.  In fact, the Delhi High Court was hearing a case in which it had summoned the Delhi government after taking cognizance itself. The High Court started the hearing in this case on the basis of a viral video, in this video, a person was telling about his problems, that neither the helpline of the Delhi government is working, nor we are getting the facility of ambulance, nor the hospital to admit his corona-afflicted old mother is ready, the hospital also asked this person to arrange ventilators himself.
