Varun Dhawan will again come together with his dad David Dhawan for the sequel of Coolie No 1. Sara Ali Khan will star opposite Varun Dhawan. While there are speculations that the film will be a remake, Varun had tended to the bits of gossip expressing that the film will experience a lot of changes. Presently, it appears as though the creators have reserved in Paresh Rawal who will paper late on-screen character Kader Khan's role.
Kader Khan plays the of Karisma Kapoor's dad in the first film. The actor passed away this year however his work will never be overlooked. According to reports, Paresh Rawal has been thrown for the role of the dad and it appears as though the on-screen character will coming back to his comic side. It's been some time since he completed an undeniable role showcasing his comic elements.
Paresh Rawal was recently seen in Uri: The Surgical Strike. A year ago, he tried the role of Sunil Dutt in Sanju.
Coolie No 1, directed by David Dhawan, initially featured Govinda, Karisma Kapoor, and Kader Khan. The film featured some of the iconic songs including 'Husn hai suhana' and 'Main to raste se ja raha tha' which will be reproduced in Varun Dhawan starrer.
On Maharashtra Day this year, Varun Dhawan declared that Coolie No 1 will release on May 1, 2020.
