Construction Materials will be Opened in Rural area Outside Red Zone

Apart from the essential goods and services, other activities are also being gradually started in the midst of the corona virus infection.  Now Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has issued conditional opening of construction material, hardware and mobile repairing shops in rural areas and small towns.  Following the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the State Government had issued earlier permission to start industrial activities in the Green Zone.

Chief Secretary RK Tiwari on Friday issued orders to allow conditional opening of shops repairing construction materials such as brick, cement, maurang, sand, saria, hardware and mobile in rural areas and small towns outside the hot spot areas.  In his letter issued to all the divisional commissioners, Inspector General of Police, Deputy Inspector General of Police, District Magistrate and Commissioner of Police of Lucknow and Noida, the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs including physical distance, sanitization should be strictly followed.

Poor daily wage Labours stranded in Uttar Pradesh and other states under odd circumstances of lockdown due to coronavirus in the state will now be able to take food grains from any government ration shop under One Nation, One Card scheme.  Under this scheme, any ration card holders of the state will be able to take food grains from any shop outside the state by simply stating their ration card number.  Similarly, card holders of other states will also be able to take food grains by mentioning ration card numbers from any government fair rate shop in the state.  This facility will be available for distribution based on Aadhar card and only on ration cards active for the last six months.
