Congress-NCP and Shiv Sena Meeting with Governor Postponed

The meeting of Shiv Sena, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and a joint delegation of Congress leaders with Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has been postponed. According to the reports meeting has been deferred. This meeting was scheduled to take place at 4.30 pm today.

Earlier, there was a BJP meeting in Mumbai today. On the other hand, the Congress held a meeting in Delhi. Former Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis and party's State head Chandrakant Patil were also present at the BJP meeting. Congress general secretaries, secretaries, state presidents and legislature party leaders met.

Maharashtra Congress leader Rajiv Satav said that the decision on forming the government in Maharashtra will be taken today after the Congress Party meeting. Satava told that leaders of Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP held a meeting in Maharashtra. The state president of the party will meet Mallikarjun Kharge and discuss the future strategy. After the meeting, a decision will be taken about the formation of the government. The Shiv Sena will not attend the NDA meeting before the winter session of Parliament. Sanjay Raut has said this. Earlier, Nationalist Congress Party chief (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has said that there is no possibility of 'mid-term' elections in the state. He said that a stable government would be formed in the state at the earliest. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Sharad Pawar said, 'Efforts to form the government have started. A government will be formed as soon as possible. There is no possibility of a mid-term election. A stable government will be formed which will last for 5 years.
