In Aligarh, a complaint was filed against BJP workers for the road blockade during the demonstration in support of CAA. Civil Lines circle officer said, a complaint was filed against about 30 persons for violation of Section-144.

He says that NPR is the first step towards NRC while Home Minister Amit Shah has said that there is no relation between NPR and NRC.
