CM Yogi’s Big Order Amid Corona Testings, 50 Thousand Tests Will Be Conducted Everyday

Testing will now be intensified to detect corona infected cases in Uttar Pradesh. On Sunday, CM Yogi Adityanath ordered 50 thousand tests to be condcuted in the entire state every day. He told the officials that patients without symptoms should be admitted to L-1 hospitals of COVID-19. Apart from this, CM Yogi has instructed to take special vigil in Kanpur Gunner, Deoria, Kushinagar, Ballia and Varanasi.

All markets will open from Monday to Friday in view of infection

The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to lockdown the last two days of the week i.e. every Saturday and Sunday for effective control over the infection of coronavirus. Chief Minister Yogi said on Sunday that now all markets will open from Monday to Friday in view of infection with Coronavirus and will be closed weekly on Saturday and Sunday.

Additional Chief Secretary (Home and Information) Avnish Kumar Awasthi said that the lockdown will be implemented in the weekend to prevent the spread of infection with coronavirus. This upcoming week will be applicable from Saturday and Sunday. Awasthi said that the markets and offices would remain closed on weekends, though banks would remain open. He informed that the lockdown will be implemented in both urban and rural areas of the state. He said that economic activities will be kept completely free from the lockdown on Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, according to a spokesperson of the state government, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said during a review of the unlocked system at a high level meeting at his government residence that special programs will be run for cleanliness and sanitization of all markets during the weekly shutdown. He said that industrial units should also do sanitation work on their own on Saturday and Sunday.

He said that uninterrupted supply of oxygen should be ensured in all COVID-19 hospitals. It is also to be seen that there is a stock of oxygen in the hospital for 48 hours. He said that in view of COVID-19, there should be wide publicity in respect of this rescue. People should be made aware that they make masks a part of their lives and wash their hands from time to time with soap.
