Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, while addressing the House during the Vidhan Sabha session on Thursday, has announced to give laptops and tabs to 1000 eligible youth as well as an allowance to the candidates appearing in three competitive examinations. CM Yogi has announced to give dearness allowance to all government employees and pensioners of the state with an increase of 28 percent from July 1. At the same time, it has been announced to give five lakh rupees under social security for advocates.

Budget doubled in the last five years

Talking about the development of the state, Chief Minister Yogi said that the budget of the UP government has doubled in the last five years. In a state with a population of 24 crores, a budget of 2.5 lakhs proved to be cumin in the camel's mouth. This was the reason that the state was backward in the economy but now UP is included in the best states for investment.

Chief Minister Yogi said that Braj, Kashi, and Ayodhya areas are being developed to promote tourism in the state. Earlier taking the names of Lord Rama, Krishna and Mahadev were considered communal but now there is a competition to prove himself as a devotee of Ram. This is our victory. Earlier also, a grand event of Kumbh could have been organized, but the governments were afraid that if they do something for the Kumbh, they will not be able to congratulate by wearing a cap.

In the last four and a half years, 2 crore 94 lakh people were given electricity connections, and 3 crores 94 lakh people have been provided with LPG connections. All this has been done without looking at anyone's caste and religion. We do not discriminate against anyone in development.

 UP during Covid time 

He said that UP has done the best work during Corona. The death rate of corona in the state is the lowest and the recovery rate is the highest. Free food grains have been provided to 15 crore people of the state during the Corona period. Yogi told that 15 to 25 kg bags have been made available to give ration to the poor. Their cost is 45 to 48 rupees.

Refuting the allegations of the highest unemployment in the state, Chief Minister Yogi said that our government has given more than four and a half lakh government jobs. 1.5 lakh teachers have been recruited in secondary, higher, and technical education in the education department alone.
