In the midst of the global crisis Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Bhumipujan in Murata village of Moth, Jhansi to make water arrangements at every house in Bundelkhand on Tuesday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will reach Jhansi today to lay the foundation stone of the 'Har Ghar Jal' scheme.

In the first phase under the Water Life Mission, construction works of 12 rural pipe drinking water schemes worth Rs 2,185 crore are being launched in Bundelkhand. CM Yogi performed Bhoomi Pujan with Union Water Power Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and UP Minister Mahendra Singh. During this time he also inspected Maharani Laxmibai Medical College.  The Chief Minister will reach the gram panchayat Gulara at 1.20 pm by helicopter.

Yogi will lay the Foundation Stone of Rural Pipe Drinking Water Scheme in Jhansi

CM said that Bundelkhand will no longer be deprived of development and pure drinking water.

Rural pipe drinking water scheme will quench the thirst of three and a half lakh villagers of 197 villages to make rural areas free from the drinking water crisis, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone of Rural Pipe Drinking Water Scheme in Jhansi today.  At 10 am, the new settlement post in charge went to his house with five soldiers and brought him to the town of Kotwali.

CM said that the communicable disease control campaign is starting from July 1, 2020.  Cleanliness also has a big role in controlling COVID-19.  In view of this, he has given instructions to conduct a cleanliness campaign on a mission mode. Under the scheme of  Village of Drinking Water, the water scheme is to provide water to 81,544 villagers in 51 villages, the raw water will be taken from the Rajghat dam and will be purified and delivered to the villagers. This will benefit about the 67 lakh population.  The projects will be completed in four phases with a total cost of Rs.10131 crore.
