Almost all the big leaders of Maharashtra have called the announcement of repeal of the three agricultural laws the victory of the farmers. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray said on Friday, "The announcement to repeal the Agriculture Act is an example of what the common man can do in this country and what is its power." The CM said that if the government had paid attention earlier, the humiliation that has happened now would not have happened earlier.
The CM further said that before the Center enacts such a law, it should make a decision in the interest of the country by taking all the opposition parties as well as the organizations concerned so that the humiliation that has happened today does not happen further. "I hope the technical process to repeal these laws will be completed soon," he said.
The Chief Minister further said that there is an atmosphere of protest against the farmer laws in the whole country. The movement started and continues to this day. The earners who feed all of us are falling prey to this. But Annadata showed his might, I salute him three times. Uddhav Thackeray said that on this occasion, I bow to all the heroes who lost their lives in this movement. The Chief Minister said- I welcome the announcement made by the Prime Minister today on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. Mahavikas Aghadi has repeatedly stated its position against these agricultural laws and has also discussed the adverse effects of these laws in the cabinet and legislature.
Welcoming the decision to withdraw the Agriculture Act, former Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar said, "The central government took this decision because BJP representatives could not answer people's questions while visiting the village." At this time the Modi government did not discuss with any opposition, farmer leader, or state government before passing the law. Taking a jibe at the Modi government, Pawar said that elections are about to come in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, after realizing that there will be a price to be paid in this election, these laws were withdrawn.
It was wrong to make a decision on agricultural law without discussion. We should have discussed this with the farmers. I was also the Agriculture Minister, so we used to discuss the change. After that, the government changed and the Modi government brought three laws in the house at once. This law was passed in just 3 hours.

Shiv Sena welcomes Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision. 550 farmers have sacrificed their lives in protest against this Agriculture Bill Act. Better late than never. Today Modi Ji slapped the face of those who were addressing the farmers of their own country as terrorists, Khalistani, fake farmers, whether they are BJP leaders or blind devotees.
The way in which today the central government was forced to take a decision to withdraw all three agricultural laws. Surely this is a victory for the farmers of the country. This is the beginning of the fall of the Modi government. Today it has also been proved that no one's arbitrariness will run in the country.
On the repeal of the Agriculture Act, senior social worker Anna Hazare said, 'Farmer commits suicide in agrarian India country, the farmer comes on the road, farmers agitate, it is unfortunate. For three years, farmers have been agitating on the way. It is a matter of solution for the country to get back the agriculture law. Our country has a tradition, one has to sacrifice, one has to sacrifice and one has to struggle. This is the history of our country. Anna further said that if farmers are tortured further, then again farmers will take to the streets on a large scale.
