43 people have been confirmed dead in the horrific fire at Grain Mandi near Rani Jhansi Road in Delhi. Given the grave condition of many of the injured, the death toll is expected to increase. Most of the dead and injured are from Bihar.

Bihar Governor Fagu Chauhan, Chief Minister (CM) Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav on the incident Including many public representatives have mourned. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a compensation of two lakh rupees to the families of the deceased. Meanwhile, politics has also started regarding the incident.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed grief over the incident and said that two lakh rupees will be given to the families of the deceased in Bihar. Of this, one lakh rupees will be given by the Labor Department and the remaining one lakh rupees from the Chief Minister Relief Fund. The Chief Minister has directed the Delhi Local Commissioner and Joint Labor Commissioner and other senior officers of Bihar to provide all possible assistance.

It is to be noted that a three-storey building at Grain Mandi near Rani Jhansi Road, Delhi, runs a factory of clothes, cardboard and plastic goods. There was a sudden fire on Sunday morning. Most of the workers who died in the accident and injured are from Bihar and UP. His identity is slowly being recognized.
