The Congress high command is hurt by the attitude of Navjot Sidhu, who has resigned from the post of Punjab Congress chief. Sidhu has neither withdrawn his resignation nor is going to Congress Bhawan in Chandigarh. Seeing this, the party has now asked CM Charanjit Channi to make an election roadmap for Punjab. In this regard, he had a meeting with Punjab Congress in-charge of Harish Chaudhary in Chandigarh on Saturday. After which he will now hold a one-to-one meeting with MLAs and MPs at his home.

It is starting with CM Channi Jalandhar. In Jalandhar on Sunday, he will go to the house of MLAs Rajinder Beri, Sushil Rinku, Bawa Henry, besides MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary and senior leader Mohinder Singh KP. Where elections will be discussed. Sidhu is adamant about the removal of Punjab DGP Iqbalpreet Sahota and Advocate General APS Deol. The Congress high command has told the CM not to remove any officer. This will send a wrong message to the people about the weakness of the government. For this reason, Sidhu had resigned.

Sidhu weakened due to Rawat's change

Harish Rawat was the one who made Navjot Sidhu the Punjab Congress chief. As long as Rawat remained, every demand of Sidhu was accepted. Rawat gave a report in his favor to the high command. Due to which the Congress removed Captain Amarinder Singh from the CM's chair 6 months before the election. Now Rawat has been removed from this post. Rajasthan minister Harish Chaudhary is the new Punjab in charge. He is constantly staying in Chandigarh and giving reports to Rahul Gandhi about Punjab. Due to which Sidhu has become weak.

If Diwali is coming, then Sidhu must definitely go to Congress Bhavan to put strings. Sidhu had talked about setting up a bed in the Congress building on the day of Pradhan's coronation. However, after his resignation, he did not go to Congress Bhavan. After this, the ministers also stopped going there.
