In order to increase the participation in the vaccination campaign of Rajasthan, today CM Ashok Gehlot interacted with the officials from panchayat to block and district level through VC. During this, all the administrative officers including PCC Chief Govind Singh Dotasara, Medical Minister Raghu Sharma, UDH Minister Shanti Kumar Dhariwal, Speaker CP Joshi were present in the program.
On this occasion, CM Gehlot expressed concern about the new variant of Corona. He said that this virus is polymorphic. Its mutants are changing. The delta variant increased mortality in the second wave, it was very lethal. In the first wave, it seemed that immunity was high in India and surrounding countries, due to which it did not affect.
The second wave shook, there was an outcry for oxygen. In many places, people died in hospitals. With this, the Chief Minister said that we have announced a good package for the destitute. Targeting the Government of India, he said that the package of the Government of India is not right. For this, I will deal with the PM separately. There is nothing for widows in the Centre's package. Package means what assistance is given immediately.
The CM said that no matter how dangerous the third wave may come, but we have completed the preparations. Now there is no need to panic. The government stands with the people. He said that the public should also cooperate with the government in vaccination.
The CM said that we are constantly in touch with the central government regarding the vaccine. The statistics of Rajasthan in vaccination are very good. For this our capacity has gone up to 15 to 20 lakhs. He said that the Modi government gave free vaccines but for this, we had to struggle a lot. Had to go to the Supreme Court.
The CM said that the cure for corona is the vaccine itself but until the vaccine is not found, the mask is very important. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot appealed to the people to wear two masks. He said that it is necessary to follow the corona protocol strictly.
