Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said in the encounter case of accused of Hyderabad gang rape that there should have been a lawful act. The rule of law should be established. Now why the encounter happened, what were the circumstances, the police will tell all this, but whatever is happening in the country at present is not good. Gehlot said that the rape victim is being burnt alive somewhere. The central government should do something on time.

Speaking to the media in Baran on Friday, Gehlot said that the central government should take drastic measures regarding women's safety. CM said that the culprits should be sentenced to death within the stipulated time. He said that 10-20 years of hearing takes place in such cases. The misdemeanors should be sentenced to death in six months to a year.

The CM attacked the rising prices of onion and also the reaction of the Union Ministers on it, saying that if the government was warned in time, people would not have to face so much inflation. Today BJP leaders and ministers are saying that we do not eat onions. They are saying that onions should not be eaten, they are the same people who used to make inflation an issue under Congress rule. Significantly, a 27-year-old female vet in Hyderabad was murdered and her body burnt after being raped on the night of 27 November. In this case, the police arrested four accused.
