Senior Congress MLA Hemaram Chaudhary is again in discussion. Recently, he was persuaded by the Speaker of the Assembly as the Chairman of the Undertaking Committee. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had asked Hemaram to convene a meeting of the committee two days ago. To this Hemaram said that I have nothing to do with the committee you are talking about. I have resigned from the legislature.

The political upheaval started after senior Congress MLA Hemaram Choudhary resigned from the assembly on May 18. After the resignation of Hemaram Chaudhary for the last 63 days, efforts are still on to persuade him, but Hemaram's attitude seems to be that he is going to obey. Recently, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has tried to persuade Hemaram Chaudhary over the phone and asked him to withdraw the resignation.

Gudamalani MLA Hemaram Choudhary was in Jaipur for the last four days. Hemaram had sent his resignation from the post of MLA to the Speaker on 18 May. Since then, many leaders from the party's state president Govind Singh Dotasra, former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot have been trying to persuade MLA Hemaram Chaudhary, but Hemaram is adamant on his resignation.

Meanwhile, the Speaker had asked to meet after the lockdown was over. After unlocking, MLA Hemaram Chaudhary had also sought an appointment with Speaker CP Joshi but refused to meet citing the lockdown.

Chief Minister called for meeting

Hemaram Chaudhary told that Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot got a call two days ago. He called for the meeting of the undertaking committee and asked to fix the date of the meeting. On this, I told the Chief Minister that I have resigned from my MLA post. I have nothing to do with this committee.

With the appointment of MLA Hemaram Chaudhary as the chairman of the undertaking committee in the same month, it is evident that Speaker CP Joshi is not in a mood to accept the resignation of MLA Hemaram Chaudhary. Here Hemaram Chaudhary is also constantly saying that he too is not in the mood to withdraw his resignation from the legislative assembly.

Chowdhury adamant on resignation

According to the information, Hemaram Chaudhary is still adamant on his resignation. The Chief Minister has also tried to persuade Hemaram Chaudhary. Hemaram Chaudhary is still angry about the neglect of development works in his assembly constituencies. According to sources, the Chief Minister has assured Hemaram that there will be no shortage of development works in Gudamalani assembly constituency.
