CM Amarinder Singh’s Demand, Central Government should give 10-10 Thousand Rupees to the Poor

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday demanded the Central Government to provide ten thousand rupees to the poor and provide financial assistance to small and medium scale industries. Releasing a video message under the Congress Party's 'Speak Up India' campaign, the Chief Minister said that we want the central government to give Rs 10,000 to poor people.

He further said that the government should provide this amount to the poor who work in factories besides helping in food production. The Chief Minister demanded financial assistance for starting small and medium scale industries. Let us tell you that two more people died due to Covid-19 infection in Punjab on Thursday while 19 new cases of Corona virus infected have been reported in the state.

Health officials said that a sixty-year-old woman from Bunala village in Baba Bakala town of Amritsar was admitted to the hospital on May 27 after she was diagnosed with corona infection. They reported that she was suffering from high blood pressure and the woman was in critical condition and was put on oxygen. The woman's condition continued to deteriorate and the woman was declared as dead at 1.40 pm Thursday afternoon.
