On the foundation day of Uttar Pradesh, a three-day colorful fair of UP Day will start from Friday at Awadh Shilpgram from Lucknow. Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate at 11 am on Friday. The ceremony will conclude on Republic Day on 26 January.
On the foundation day of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation of Atal residential schools in 15 divisional headquarters. In these schools, children of laborers and destitute children will be given free education. ODOP was announced by Yogi Adityanath on the first foundation day in 2017, while Vishwakarma Shram Samman was launched in 2018 on the second foundation day. Now on the third foundation day, the government is going to give the gift of Atal Residential School. In the function, the Chief Minister will digitally launch schemes related to the districts, while the foundation stone of Balrampur Medical College, SGPGI and Balrampur Tribal Museum will also be laid. On the three days of the festival, where cultural performances by folk artists will show glimpses of different parts of the state, the state government will felicitate the best working entrepreneurs and sports talent in MSME and one district-one product scheme. Various programs will be held on 25 January on the second day of the ceremony. On January 26, artists of the state will present cultural and folk arts programs.
