Through this, the Chinese media is trying to show that at the border, China can collect its troops and weapons at any time. The Global Times claimed that the People's Liberation Army (PLA) has conducted large-scale maneuvers in high altitude areas in the northwest of China. It consists of thousands of paratroopers and armored carriages.
The Global Times report tried to show how quickly China can strengthen its border security if needed. On Saturday, China Central Television (CCTV) also reported that the Airborne Brigade of the PLA Airforce conducted maneuvers at an undisclosed location in the plateaus of northwest China, thousands of kilometers from Hubei Province.
Ending tension between the forces in eastern Ladakh, Core commander level talks were held on Saturday. On Sunday, the Foreign Ministry gave information about this. The ministry said that now China is ready to settle the entire dispute peacefully.
After the meeting, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs said, "Both sides also remembered the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. It was agreed that due to the early resolution of the issue, the relationship will move forward."
