Prime Minister Narendra Modi has left for Delhi after the conclusion of the second informal summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Earlier, Chinese President Xi Jinping left for a Two-day visit to Nepal. He was on a two-day visit to India for the second informal summit with PM Narendra Modi in Mahabalipuram.

Foreign Secretary Vijay Gokhale said, 'During this time neither the Kashmir issue was discussed nor the issue came up. Our position is very clear anyway that this is an internal matter of India. Jinping invited PM Modi to China for the next summit. PM Modi has accepted the invitation. Later dates will be announced.

Gokhale said, 'The two leaders held talks for about 90 minutes today, followed by delegation level talks and then PM Modi hosted lunch. During this summit, the two leaders had a one-to-one meeting for a total of six hours.

Gokhale said, 'President Xi talked about providing more facilities for the passengers going on Mansarovar Yatra. The Prime Minister suggested several views on the relationship between the state of Tamil Nadu and Fujian Province of China.
