Indian-American citizens demonstrated in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington on Sunday. Protesters expressed displeasure over China’s aggression at LAC, Ladakh.

Indian-American Citizens demonstrated in front of the Chinese Embassy in Washington on Sunday. Protesters expressed displeasure over China's aggression at LAC, Ladakh. According to the protesters, China is trying to dominate in Asia. In such a situation, the powerful countries of the world should break economic ties with China. The protesters also accused China of spreading the coronavirus.

People waved anti-China poster, banners and shouted slogans against China. Seeing the risk of infection, the protesters arrived wearing masks and also followed physical distancing. Earlier on 26 June, Indian- American citizens protested in Chicago.

Condemnation of China's actions in Ladakh: Protesters

Manoj Srinilayam, who was involved in the protest, said- We condemn the actions of China at LAC and killing of 20 Indian soldiers. China is doing all this at a time when the whole world is fighting against the epidemic. Another protester, Mahindra Sapa, said – China has been harassing India and other small countries for the last several decades. We have arrived here to bring the world's attention to the antics of China.

Members of many organizations participated in the demonstration:

Many Indians took part in the protests from several US cities including Maryland, Virginia and Washington DC. These included members of Kerala Association of Greater Washington, Tamil Culture Groups, Indian Cultural Association of Howard County, National Council of Asian Indian Association and Vishwa Hindu Parishad, America.

Anti-China protests also held in Toronto, Canada

Hundreds of people demonstrated against China on Sunday outside the Chinese Embassy in Toronto, Canada. People appealed to the countries of the world to come forward for the release of two Canadian people arrested on the orders of the Chinese government. The protesters demanded the Communist Party of China to liberate Tibet and Hong Kong.
