China's 'Zero Covid Policy' is a bane for its citizens. While lakhs of people have been detained in quarantine camps, many infected individuals have been confined in metal boxes, according to social media videos. This strictness has been imposed for minimizing corona spread. Which is rising in china explosively. These strict actions have been taken as part of the preparation for the Winter Olympics next month that China will be hosting this time.
On social media, videos from China are going viral. These videos depict the gruesome way in which citizens are handled in the name of enforcing strict regulations. These metal boxes don't exempt pregnant women, toddlers, and elderly ones. If anyone is found infected, they are imprisoned for two weeks in these boxes. These metal boxes are equipped with restrooms and wooden beds.
According to the report, if even one infected person is discovered in any location, the entire area will be quarantined. Those infected are loaded onto buses and sent to the camps. People in several places have been instructed that if they are found infected, they must leave their homes at midnight and walk to the Quarantine Camp. China also has a tight protocol regarding the tracking of infected people and anyone who comes into touch with them. Every person must have 'Track and Trace' apps on their phone so that it will be easier for them to catch the infected person. When a person becomes infected, all of the people who have contacted them are also been tracked down and brought to the quarantine camps.
After an Omicron case was found in the past, there was a stir in Tianjin, China. People are fearful of the lockdown, frantically shopping for food and other essential stuff.
In China, there are approximately 20 million people imprisoned. Even going out for food and drink is prohibited. A pregnant woman was previously denied access to the hospital, resulting in a miscarriage, according to media sources. such is the severity of Covid laws that have been formulated in China to decrease corona cases.
China has adopted a severe lockdown policy in the past as well. For citizens under lockdown in any city of China, death is the only conclusion. Some people were seen fleeing from the city to save their lives.
