Neighboring country China has again become active on the border with India. After the encounter in Eastern Ladakh 17 months ago, once again China is building a bunker for its army near the borderline. According to the intelligence report, China has made arrangements for living like new modular containers (temporary tents) at about 8 locations near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in front of eastern Ladakh.

Army has built shelters for soldiers

The People's Liberation Army has built shelters for soldiers from Wahab Jilga near the Karakoram Pass in the north to Piyu, Hot Springs, Chang La, Tashigong, Manja, and Churup. From 80 to 84 containers have been made in seven clusters at each location.

Since the military confrontation between India and China in April-May last year, China has set up several camps. These new camps have been built in addition to the old existing camps. This clearly shows that China has no intention of withdrawing its army from the border for a long time.

50-50 thousand soldiers of both the countries deployed on the border

Both India and China have deployed 50-50 thousand soldiers along the borderline near eastern Ladakh. They also have howitzers, tanks, and surface-to-air missile systems. In the midst of this uncomfortable situation, troops from both sides continue to change regularly.

New helipads in the region

China has also built several airstrips and new helipads in the region, which extend from Ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh. Along with this, China has also upgraded its major airbases Hotan, Kashgar, Gargunsa, Lhasa-Gonggar, and Shigatse here.

Indian territories opposite eastern Ladakh

One such camp has been spotted barely a few kilometers from the Naku La area in North Sikkim, sources added. Similar buildings have been built in areas close to Indian territories opposite eastern Ladakh as well as Arunachal Pradesh, the sources said. The road infrastructure along the Chinese side has been upgraded by their military in the last few years, which allows them to move swiftly towards the LAC in case of any such deployment.
