Corona virus cases are increasing rapidly in the country. In the midst of this catastrophe, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the leaders of several political parties on the phone on Sunday, among them was Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. Former Union Minister P. Chidambaram's response to this conversation has come now, he said in the tweet that now it is necessary that the investigation should be started aggressively.

In a series of tweets on Monday, the former Union Minister wrote, "India, today, with the world, is entering a critical period of two weeks. It is good that Narendra Modi spoke to the leaders of opposition parties. I have no doubt that every one of them supported the government's efforts to stop the spread COVID-19."

P. Chidambaram further wrote that if the Congress and other opposition parties pointed out deficiencies in the measures taken by the government, it was with constructive criticism and a sense of cooperation, at this point in the CWC resolution of April 2, 2020 Highlights

He wrote that there is a consensus among epidemiologists, doctors and district-level administrators that the need of the hour is aggressive and comprehensive investigation, the government should start the effort from today itself.

It should be noted that earlier, questions were raised by Congress on the low number of corona virus tests happening in the country, Rahul Gandhi himself also appealed to the government through social media to consider increasing the number of these tests to be conducted.

Significantly, in view of the corona epidemic, the country is fighting unitedly at this time. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to the leaders of several political parties including former President Pranab Mukherjee, Pratibha Patil, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, HD Deve Gowda and informed about the efforts of the government.
