Chhattisgarh Recorded 104 New Corona Cases on Tuesday, Total Figure Reached to 1197

Officials said Corona virus infection has so far been confirmed in 1197 people in the state, of these, 858 people are being treated and 335 people have been discharged after treatment

In Chhattisgarh, 104 new cases of infected with the corona virus have been reported in and now the total cases reached to 1197. At the same time, 52 patients have been discharged after treatment on Monday. State Health Department officials said that on Monday, 20 from Mungeli district, 14 from Korba district, 10 from Sarguja district, 9 from Janjgir Champa district, 8 from Balodabazar district, 7 from Raigad district, 6 from Kabirdham district, Rajnandgaon , 5-5 from Korea and Kanker districts, 4-4 from Raipur and Bilaspur districts, 3 from Bemetra district, 2 from Surajpur district and one from Jashpur district have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus.

Officials said corona virus infection has also been confirmed in a person who came here from another state. They said that two policemen and one of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police were among those infected with the corona virus. Officials said that two police personnel posted at Mandir Hasaud police station in Raipur district were stationed in Mandir Hasaud and Saddu area. Health Department officials said that a soldier of the 40th Battalion of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force deployed in the state's Rajnandgaon district has also been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus.

Officials said the infected soldier had returned from Lucknow to Rajnandgaon on May 28, whereas ITBP has been deployed in Naxal-affected areas in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh. Officials said Corona virus infection has so far been confirmed in 1197 people in the state, of these, 858 people are being treated and 335 people have been discharged after treatment. They further informed that 231935 people have been kept in the 19903 segregated habitat centers of the state. At the same time samples of 92598 people have been tested in the state so far.
