Today is the 39th match of the IPL 2019 of this 12th Edition in which Chennai ready to face Bangalore at Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore Today.
Both the teams were standing on the opposite side of the ranking one is on the top of the table and other is on the bottom but the ability to win from both the side is equal and wealthy.
In this season of IPL the only team who has many losses apart from two wins is Royal Challengers Bangalore while no team has won as many matches as MS Dhoni's CSK so far in IPL 2019. CSK is at the top of the IPL 2019 points table while RCB is at the extreme bottom.
There is no threat as such for CSK for the playoffs but the side would be looking to fix loose ends, especially after losing to SRH in their last match. RCB started learning how to win way too late and even though they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their last match, they might not make it to the road to playoffs because that is a complex equation.
If RCB defeats CSK, there would be definite turbulence in the points table and this is precisely what they plan to do.
For RCB, all's well that ends well. The Kohli-led side won a crucial match against KKR in their last clash but CSK is a tough nut to crack. RCB do not have much to lose, but everything to gain and that's why they pose a tough challenge for Chennai.
On the other hand, CSK will fancy themselves against RCB and sail into the playoffs. Dhoni, who has scored 230 runs in eight games including two half-centuries, will hold the key once again.
The star bowler for CSK this season has been 40-year-old Imran Tahir, who has taken 13 wickets. The South African import has executed his skipper's plans brilliantly.
