Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 12th examinations can be conducted soon. A high-level meeting was held on this issue today. According to sources, CBSE has kept two options for the exam. Its dates and format are not yet decided.

Some media reports are claiming that there will be the 12th examination. Dates may be announced on 1 June. Examinations can be conducted in July under the Corona Protocol. At the same time, the decision to conduct the 12th examination in the state has been left on its board.

The meeting, chaired by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, was attended by ministers and officers of states and union territories, besides Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Union Ministers Smriti Irani, and Prakash Javadekar.

Considering conducting only 3 subjects exams

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is considering taking the exam of the main subjects i.e. major subjects in the 12th class amid the second wave of the corona epidemic. Only the 3 main subjects of Science, Commerce, and Arts in 12th are being considered for examination. In other subjects, a marking formula can also be formed based on the numbers found on the main subjects.

It has also been said that students who are unable to give exams due to corona, should get another chance. The government postponed the 12th board exam due to the second wave of Corona.

Exams without Vaccination of Students is not Good: Sisodia

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that conducting the 12th examination without vaccination of the students can prove to be a big mistake. 95% of 12th students are over 17 and half years of age. In this case, we should talk to the experts about whether they can be given CoviShield or Covaxin. The center should also talk to Pfizer about the vaccination of students.

Expert comment on 12th exam

Former CBSE chairman Ashok Ganguly told – no decision should be taken in a hurry regarding the 12th exam. This examination lays the foundation for the future of children. The final decision should be taken by forming a committee of some experts. Infection cases are now coming down. We should also get suggestions from medical experts. At the same time, the marking of the minor subject based on the major subject is not exactly right. If the situation does not improve in July, children should be evaluated on the basis of a better creative model.

Paper of the elective subject

It has been said in the suggestions that in the 12th class exam, one paper related to language and 3 papers of the elective subject should be kept. The numbers of the 5th and 6th subjects should be given on the basis of the number found in the elective subject. If the board chooses the second option, then the exam can be conducted in 2 phases.

If a Student infected with Corona then the student will have one more Chance later

In places where the corona epidemic is not much worse, the examination should be done in the first phase. In the remaining areas, the exam is done in the second phase. There should be a 14-day gap between the two phases. If a student is not able to take the exam due to a corona infection, then he should get one more chance.
