CBSE 10th Result to be Release on July 15: HRD Minister
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the Class X results tomorrow. HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has given this information on twitter.
Results to be released by July 15
Earlier, after the court order, CBSE had informed that the board results will be announced by July 15. In this series, the result of class 12th was declared on 13 July. Since then, now students are eagerly waiting for the 10th result. Students who have appeared for the 10th examination will be able to see their results on the official website cbseresults.nic.in.
18 lakh students appeared in the exams:
This year's 10th and 12th classes examinations started simultaneously from 15 February 2020. This year, about 18 lakh students had appeared in the 10th board exams. However, the 10th-grade examinations were postponed to 19 March 2020 due to Coronavirus. At that time, four subjects of 10th standard examinations were yet to be held. However, after the judgment in the Supreme Court, the remaining examinations were canceled.
The result announced on May 6 last year:
Last year, the board released the 10th results on 6 May. About 91.1 percent of students passed in the 10th, including 92.45 percent girls, 90.14 percent boys and 94.74 percent transgenders. At the same time in the year 2019, there were 13 such students, who scored 499 out of 500.
How to check result:
- First of all, go to the official site of CBSE cbseresults.nic.in.
- Click on the class 10th CBSE Result 2020 link on the home page here.
- Now when a new page opens, candidates will have to log in.
- Your result will be displayed on the screen as soon as you log in.
- After viewing the result, download it and keep a hard copy.
This time the board has not been able to conduct the rest of the exam due to the coronavirus. In such a situation, on the lines of the CISCE board, CBSE will release the result of class 10th also after 12th, without merit list and toppers list.
Marksheet will be downloaded digitally:
These students will be given digital mark sheet through DigiLocker. Digilocker credentials will be given to students from the board through SMS. Using this, they can download their mark sheet.
