The Delhi High Court has given another 2 months to complete the investigation in the corruption case against former Special Director Rakesh Asthana former Special Director of Central Bureau of Investigation.With this, the High Court reprimanded the CBI and said that the agency has been given 2 months to complete the investigation. Justice Vibhu Bakhru will not give any more time to the agency after CBI.

During the hearing on Wednesday, the angry Delhi High Court has made it clear that two months' time has been given, but no further time will be given after this. The court also remarked – 'CBI should end the investigation. He cannot be allowed to drag the investigation. '

During the hearing, Additional Solicitor General Vikramjit Banerjee, appearing for the CBI, argued that a letter has also been sent to the United Arab Emirates along with the US to help tighten the investigation process and is awaiting its reply. Simultaneously, the CBI requested the court to give three more months for investigation, but the counsel for the accused, including Rakesh Asthana, opposed the CBI's demand. At the same time, the court rejected the demand of CBI for three months, asking him to complete the investigation within 2 months, and rejected the demand for three months.
