CBI has registered a case in Kanpur's famous kidnapping and murder case of Sanjeet Yadav. Let us inform you that in this kidnapping case, the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of Rs 30 lakh from the family, in which the family had also given a ransom of Rs 30 lakh to the miscreants, but even after that, the miscreants did not leave Sanjeet alive.

The family had demanded a CBI inquiry from the government

In the kidnapping case, the family had demanded a CBI inquiry from the government, in which the government had sent a letter to the Center on 2 August 2020 for a CBI investigation. However, on September 22, 2021, the Center had issued information about the conduct of a CBI inquiry, in which the CBI has registered the case registered at Barra police station in Kanpur in the Special Crime Branch of Lucknow and now the CBI will investigate the matter.

Actually, on June 22 last year, Lab Technician Sanjeet Yadav was kidnapped by two of his friends, in the kidnapping, the friends had demanded a ransom of Rs 30 lakh from the family after 4 days, whose family members had complained to the then SP South Aparna Gupta.

Miscreants killed Sanjeet and threw his body in the river

In the complaint, the relatives had asked for a ransom from the SP South, in which the police had also given an amount of 30 lakh rupees from the family members to catch the miscreants. After taking the ransom money, the miscreant escaped by dodging the police, and the miscreants killed Sanjeet and threw his body in the river, which to date police has not been able to recover the body. In this, the police arrested 4 people including 2 friends. In this case, the government had also suspended the then SP South Aparna Gupta.
