UPSC 2020: Total 761 Candidates have been Selected; Know Rank Board here

Union Public Service Commission, ie UPSC has declared the result of Civil Services Main Examination 2020. A total of 761 people have been elected in this. Shubham Kumar (roll number 1519294) of Bihar has topped. Shubham has done B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Bombay. There are 13 men and 12 women in the top 25. At the same time, 5 women have made it to the top 10.

Jagriti Awasthi of Bhopal got the second position and Ankita Jain of Agra got the third position. This year, 545 males and 216 females are among those who have cleared the exam. Jagriti has done her B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal. At the same time, Riya Dabi, the younger sister of 2015 IAS topper Tina Dabi, has secured 15th rank. Tina Dabi was in the news recently after her divorce from her IAS husband Athar Khan.

150 candidates were kept in reserve

263 candidates from the general category, 86 from economically backward classes, 229 from backward classes, 122 from scheduled castes, 61 from scheduled tribes have passed the exam. Including these, 761 candidates have passed the examination. Apart from this, 150 candidates have been kept in reserve.

Total posts 836 out of which 180 IAS

A total of 836 posts are to be recruited this year. These include 180 IAS, 36 IFS, 200 IPS, 302 posts of Central Service Group A, and 118 posts of Group B.
