Pakistan on Tuesday decided to ban the broadcast of the famous Indian Premier League matches of T-20 cricket in their home country. Pakistan alleged that India has made an organized effort to harm the sport in Pakistan. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the cabinet.

Fawad Chaudhary the Information Minister told in the press conference that this decision was taken in the Cabinet meeting in the presence of PM Imran Khan. PM Imran Khan is also a cricket player and also the veteran captain of the team He said that this step was taken because India has not given any chance to harm Pakistani cricket.

The accusation of loss 

Fawad Chaudhary said, "India made an organized effort to harm cricket in Pakistan, it doesn't make sense for us to allow an Indian domestic tournament to be promoted here and after all this was the reason behind purposing a ban on IPL telecast,"

 After the Pulwama attack, Indian official broadcaster stops broadcasting the PSL tournament.

PSL League was banned in India after the Pulwama Attack which was happened on 14 February in which more than 40 CRPF soldiers were martyred. The terrorist attack was done by the head of the terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed. After this incident, the tension between the two countries had increased considerably.

India has ban PSL

Indian company IMG Reliance also withdrew from the contract to make PSL television coverage globally, after which the T-20 league had to find a new production company in the middle of the tournament. Chaudhary said that the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority will ensure that no match of IPL should be broadcasted in Pakistan.

He said that the Pakistan government believes that politicization of sports and culture should not be done but India has adopted aggressive attitude towards Pakistan's players and artists. After this the decision has been taken.
