Users on social media platform X (earlier Twitter) will soon be able to make audio-video calls without sharing the number. Company owner Elon Musk has given this information by posting on X.
In fact, recently X's designer Andrea Conway wrote in a post that 'Just called someone on X'. Since then, claims were being made in the media reports about the addition of this feature soon.
After this, the company's CEO Linda Yacarino confirmed this in an interview given to the news channel CNBC. Now Elon Musk has also talked about adding this feature to the platform.
Musk said in his post, 'Audio and video call feature is coming on X. This new feature will work on IOS, Android, Mac and computer. There will be no need to share phone numbers for this. He said that X is a global address book, one can call anyone through it.
Elon Musk wants to make X an 'everything app', in which he is going to add other features including payment service. However, the owner and CEO of the company have not yet told whether video-audio calls will be encrypted or not.

1. More than half the employees laid off

2. Unblocked multiple blocked accounts

4. Character limit increased, limit for reading posts
Musk has increased the character limit of posts from 280 to 25,000. Limit for reading posts has also been applied. Verified users can read only ten thousand posts in a day. Unverified users can read one thousand posts, while new unverified users can read only 500 posts daily.
5.Platform name and logo changed to X
On July 24, Elon Musk changed the name and logo of the social media platform 'Twitter' to X. After this, late night on July 26, the owner of the company made a small change in the design of the logo. Musk has made the X logo bolder and sharper. Musk had said, the logo will develop with time. At the same time, Musk said on naming Twitter as 'X', Twitter will provide all kinds of financial services in the coming months. In such a situation, the name Twitter has no meaning.
