According to those acquainted with the situation, an estimated 750 full-time employees at coding start-up WhiteHat Jr, owned and run by Byju's, have quit in the previous 60 days after the firm requested them to relocate and return to their respective locations within a month. Employees from the sales, coding, and math teams opted to leave because they did not want to transfer to their allotted office sites.

"Yes, many were asked to relocate, and others opted to quit - that is a separate issue, but 800 is a greatly inflated number," sources with knowledge of the situation told FE. "We requested them to return to the office, and some resigned," they added.

Employees are Expected to Return in Mid-March

Those working from remote locations are expected to return in mid-March, according to the start-up.
