
WhatsApp has rolled out the new Silence Unknown Caller feature. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg wrote on 'Meta Channel', 'You can now automatically mute incoming calls from unknown contacts on WhatsApp for more privacy and control.'
Along with this, Zuckerberg has also shared a screenshot. This feature of Silence Unknown Caller is available in the privacy setting. WhatsApp has rolled out this feature worldwide including India. If you have not got this feature on WhatsApp yet, then update your app to the latest version. After this you will get this feature.
First open WhatsApp.
Now go to Settings.
Then click on Privacy.
Now click on the calls option.
After this enable the silence unknown caller.
For the past few days, WhatsApp users have been receiving spam calls and messages from international numbers like +254, +84, +63, +21, +62. These spam calls are mostly coming from African and South East Asian countries. In such a situation, through this feature, users will be able to mute the ring of spam calls.
