
Indian two-wheeler company TVS has launched a special edition of modern-retro motorcycle Ronin today i.e. on 27th October. The new Ronin Special Edition is priced at Rs 1,72,700 ex-showroom and gets cosmetic upgrades compared to the standard variant.
However, the specs and features of this special edition model remain the same as the top-spec variant of the Ronin. The new edition features a new triple tone graphic scheme, which includes gray as the primary shade, white as the secondary shade and a red stripe as the third tone.
The 'R' logo pattern is incorporated on the motorcycle. The wheel rims come with 'TVS Ronin' branding, while the lower half of the bike is completely black, with the black theme also being added to the headlamp bezels.
For performance, TVS Ronin has a 225.9cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine, which generates power of 20.2 bhp at 7750rpm and peak torque of 19.93 Nm at 3750rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The company claims that the customers will get a top speed of 120 Kmph in the bike.
Hardware specs include upside-down front forks for riding comfort and a 7-step preload-adjustable monoshock suspension at the rear. For braking, the bike consists of a 300 mm front disc and a 240 mm rotor at the rear wheel. This bike will compete with Honda CB300R in the Indian market.
