Meta's instant messaging app WhatsApp is testing the theme feature for its users, through which users will be able to change the default green color to five different colors. WABetaInfo has given information about the upcoming features of WhatsApp in one of its reports.
According to the report, users will be able to change the interface of the app to sky blue, white, pink and lavender colors along with the default green. Whatever color theme the users choose, the notification and unread message indicator will appear in the same color.
No official information has been given by the company about the theme feature of WhatsApp. At the same time, information has not been revealed yet whether there will be any change in the app UI with the new theme option. It is being told in media reports that with the change in theme, the company can give many customization options to the users.
According to WABetaInfo, the company is currently testing this feature in beta version 24.1.10.70 for iOS users. In the coming time, the company will roll out this feature for all WhatsApp users.
Currently, there is no theme option in WhatsApp, users can currently use WhatsApp only in dark or light mode.
