Friday's strong trading trend in the country's stock market is strong. The main index Sensex, at 9.32 in the morning, rose by 110.34 points to 35,370.88 and the Nifty also saw trading at about 10,645.20 with an increase of 28.50 points at the same time.
The Sensex, based on 30 stocks of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), rose by 138.16 points to end at 35,398.70, while the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the 50-share Sensex index Nifty, rose by 27.3 points to open at 10,644.00.
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex rose 119 points on Thursday on the back of crude oil prices, rupee strengthening and fresh inflows of foreign funds. National Stock Exchange's Nifty crossed the 10,600 mark level. The 30-share Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange rose 35,140 to 35,118.42 after the opening of some strong trend at 35,145.75. Finally, the Sensex climbed 118.55 points, or 0.34 percent, to 35,260.54.
