Singapore to use Chandipur Integrated Test Range for Testing & Launching Missiles

India has offered Singapore to use the Chandipur Integrated Test Range for testing and launching missiles and rockets. India has already opened its military training centers, including Air Force and Artillery firing range for Singapore. This is because there is limited space for such facilities in the island nation Singapore. Both countries perform artillery exercises regularly for more than a decade.

The Defense Ministry said that in Singapore, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and his Singaporean counterpart Dr. N. In the presence of Ang Hein, the letter of intent attached to it by the two sides.

The DRDO has established an Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Odisha for testing and evaluation of rockets, missiles and air weapons.
