Seven companies have become in the country to achieve a market cap of more than Rs 5 lakh crore. These seven companies have a total market cap of Rs 61.28 lakh crore. On Thursday, two companies managed to achieve a market cap of over Rs 5 lakh crore.

BSE's market cap is Rs 252.68 lakh crore

The market cap of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) rose to Rs 252.68 lakh crore on Thursday due to the continuous boom of the market. During this period, a total of seven companies were successful in achieving a market cap of more than Rs 5 lakh crore. The largest company is Reliance Industries. Its market cap is Rs 14.54 lakh crore. While Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is at number two. Its market cap is Rs 14.19 lakh crore. TCS has crossed the Rs 14 lakh crore mark for the first time.

HDFC Bank at number three

The third-largest company is HDFC Bank. Its market cap is Rs 8.79 lakh crore. While the market cap of Infosys is Rs 7.16 lakh crore. In terms of market cap, for the first time, two banks have crossed the Rs 5 lakh crore mark. The second bank is ICICI Bank. Its market cap rose to Rs 5.02 lakh crore for the first time on Thursday. It is the sixth-largest company in terms of market cap.

HUL's market cap is Rs 6.57 lakh crore

Hindustan Unilever (HUL) had a market cap of Rs 6.57 lakh crore on Thursday. Whereas HDFC Limited is at number seven. Its market cap has gone up to Rs 5.01 lakh crore. In the top 7 companies, 2 companies are from the Information Technology (IT) sector and 2 are from the banking sector. One is in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector and one is in the financial sector. Whereas Reliance Industries is a company spread over many sectors.

BSE Sensex reaches 57,852 points for the first time

The BSE Sensex closed at 57,852 points for the first time on Thursday. Due to this, the market cap of the companies has been continuously increasing. The share of Reliance Industries was at Rs 2,368 on 23 September 2020. Once again it is close to the same level. On Thursday, it closed at Rs 2,307 with an increase.

TCS stock at 1-year high

Shares of TCS also closed at a 1-year high of Rs 3,837 for the first time. However, during the day it went up to Rs 3,858. Hindustan Unilever's stock also closed at a 1-year high of Rs 2,799. The stock had gone up to Rs 2,808 during the day. These seven companies are followed by Bajaj Finance, State Bank, and Airtel in terms of market cap. These three are companies with a market cap of more than Rs 3.63 lakh crore.
